Q: Are you going out of business?

A: No. Our production facility, customer service, website, and day to day operations will continue to run normally. We are transitioning to another showroom location and we are in the process of choosing a new space. The Beverly Blvd showroom will be closing September 16, 2009. We will temporarily run all aspects of the business out of our Los Angeles production facility until a new showroom location is established.

Q: I have a pending order. Will it be cancelled?

A: No. All pending orders will be fulfilled as per the original terms and agreements.

Q: Will I still be able to place a new order?

A: Yes. We are updating our website with product pricing, photography, specs, and other useful information. You may place an order by phone, email, or you can make an appointment to visit our production facility and see our products in person.

Q: Will your products be available at other retailers?

A: We are currently negotiating with some retailers in the Los Angeles area to carry some of our lines of furniture. As these relationships are solidified, we will be providing a list of these retailers on our website.

Q: Will products be available to the wholesale market?

A: Yes, we are currently developing a wholesale division. If you are a retailer interested in carrying our products, please contact us at wholesale@shelterfurniture.com

Q: What can I expect to see from Shelter in the future?

A: We are going through an important transition and changing with the times. We will continue to offer our full range of home furnishings and we will be working on new lines of product that will be modern, beautifully crafted, and a great value. We believe in products that can last a lifetime, and we will continue to create amazing handmade furniture that will enhance your home and your lifestyle. You can look forward to seeing Shelter in a new showroom in the near future. 

We are also planning on broadening the distribution of Shelter. We are looking for new channels and are looking to work with new partners with a like-minded aesthetic so that we can grow our presence locally and nationally.
